The Poverty Project
Poverty and Child abuse are rising globally and we all need to take collective action to ease the suffering of children.
Katherine is leading an initiative to establish child protection projects in the UK and New Zealand.
Three things underpin our preparation and thinking:
- Every child has the right to dignity, food, shelter and education
- Public Agencies currently operate in silos. A joined up end to end model is needed.
- Community re-building and cohesion needs to be a major part of the solution.
We are thrilled to be working alongside Global Angels, the only charity with a 100% pledge.
